Maintaining a safe environment for students and ensuring the Driver can focus on driving responsibilities are the most important tasks of the Bus Aide. The compensation during training will be $8.00 and after training, compensation will range between $12 - $13.73.Responsibility Profile:Help the Driver focus on driving the assigned vehicle.Greet students in a pleasant manner.Help students as necessary.Ensure all students arrive safely at their destination.Perform child checks at the conclusion of every tour of duty.Always maintain a safe environment on the bus.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential Job Functions:Kneeling and fastening wheelchair restraintsBending and stooping as needed to assist with various tasksAscending and descending stairs of school busFastening children securely in seatsPerforming other related tasks as requiredBeacon Mobility is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
